This kettle is made of enamel on steel, yet remains relatively lightweight.  The entire interior is also coated with enamel; this helps prevent rusting and prolongs the life and beauty of this Le Creuset kettle.

The 8-inch wide flat-bottom design of the Le Creuset stove top kettles makes these ideal for use on all cooking surfaces, whether it be gas, electric, enamel, ceramic and Aga/Rayburn. Furthermore, the Le Creuset kettle has a wide lid area that allows for easy cleaning.

Capacity is 2.1 Litres.  There is also a tight-fitting lid, which seals in heat for a more rapid boil. The unique, locking handles design makes lifting and pouring easy.  Both the lid and the handle are made from heatproof phenolic plastic for a stay-cool grip - a handy feature for stove top kettles!
